两个在英语里经常出现，却又很容易弄错的词——except 和 but。它们都有“除…之外”“不过”的意思，但在句子里扮演的角色、搭配的词语以及语气强弱都有差别。掌握好这两个词，你的口语和写作会更自然、更地道；写作文时也不容易被老师扣分。

• except：排除、除外的意思。相当于中文的“除…之外”“除了”。

• 先判断语义：是“排除”还是“转折”。排除用 except（或 except for），转折用 but。

• 看后面跟的是什么：except 后面必须是名词/代词；but 后面可以是完整句子。
