Friendship means being friendly to each other or making friends with one another. Human beings are social animals. They do not live in isolation.They need each other both physically and emotionally.
However, some people distort friendship by forming small groups that are harmful to others, or even to the whole community. In university some students from the same city or province form an association to help each other. But such associations often exclude students from other parts of the country, and thus do not promote friendship in a broad sense.
True and lasting friendship is based on a more solid foundarien. Real friends share the same ideals. While marching toward their common objective, they help each other. If one makes a mistake, his friend will not hesitate to point it out for him, because he knows the frank criticism will help him. What we need is this type of genuine friendship.
During last summer vacation, I paid a visit to my uncle's. It was the first time I had seen the sea. Tow years ago my uncle, a closed friend of my father, transferred from Shanxi to Yantai, a beautiful port city; and then my aunt joined him a couple months later. And a year later I became their guest and was going to stay with them for a week. I was fascinated by the vastness of the sea, the clean and soft sand on the beach, the seagulls flying in the sky and the beauty of the golden sunset clouds over the dark blue water. But I missed the sunrise each day, for I couldn't get up early enough.
On the fifth day, the alarm clock woke me up when it was still dark outside, I hurried to the beach and stood in the cool breeze there, the sky was turning grey little by little, the sea was calm and all was so quiet that I felt I was surrounded by mysteries, then suddenly, in the faraway horizon, golden beans of light were shooting up into the sky. A moment later, a corner of the sun appeared. The sun was rising very slowly and reluctantly as if it was unwilling to leave the sea. At last the entire sun lay on the horizon, so big and so red, it looked like a huge ripe orange or a tender half-boiled yolk. It hesitated and shivered a moment, then said goodbye to the sea and rose into the air. The scene was very beautiful, touching and magnificent which I'll never forget.
Last Monday,we had a school meeting and our headmaster spoke highly of a kind boy,whose name is LiHua.The boy is a Junior high school student.we all respect him very much because of his kindness.
One day, LiHua went to school by bus as usual. when he was ready to get on the bus,he saw a thief stealing a woman's wallet,and there is a knife in his hand. LiHua was afraid that the thief would hurt other people on the bus. Suddenly, a good idea came to his mind. He walked to the woman and said" Mum,I want to use your mobilphone''. Soon, the woman realized what happened and replied,"ok, I will give it to you". The driver noticed the thief. He drived the bus to the police station. At last, the thief was under control. Later, the woman sent a letter to our school to express her thanks to Li Hua.
Though I am a senior high school student, I cant do as well as LiHua. His kindness touched me,including all of you. As we all know, a kind heart is important for everyone. Kindness can make the world more beautiful and more lovable. In other words, if the world is a cup,kindness is like cofee, which makes the world meaningful.
In the past two years, my parents took me to travel to many places, including big cities, small towns, famous mountians and so on. Therefore, I like traveling and I hope I can visit to many more places. Since that, I hope I can be a tour guide in the future, so I can travel to many tourist attractions. Besides, I can meet various people and I think communicating with different people is interesting, wchich can broaden my field of vision. I hope they can share their life stories with me so that I can know the general life of a place. I know it would be a challenging job, but I believe I can do well in my job.
why is goal-setting important? because goals can help you do and experience every meaningful thing you hope for in life. instead of letting life happen to you, goals allow you to make your life happen.
successful people have visions of what their life should be and they set lots of goals, both sbort-term and long-range, to help them realize the visions. by setting goals you are taking control of your life. it is like having a map to show where you want to go. a driver with an aim arrives at the destination without any waste of time or wrong turns.
on the contrary, a driver with no aim drives aimlessly around, never getting anywhere and just using up gas and oil. winners in life set goals and follow through on them. they decide what they want and then get there by making plans and setting goals.
goals ara not difficult to set and they are not difficult to reach. it is up to you to find out what your goals, ideals and visions really are. with a clear direction, and with certain plans, you will straightly get what you want.
without a goal, you have to live a passive life. you do not know where to go, what you want and why you are listless. then your life be comes dull and meaningless just like the dead water in a muddy lake.
Everyone in our life should face something we hate,or some one we never want to face.
So,how can we face the difficulties.
Difficulties happen all the time,but do not be afraid of difficultys.Just go ahead withe what we are doing with a smile.Do cry and have a smile ,which is the best way we can use to beat difficulties.Never
give up and do your best for tomorrow's sunthine.Trust yourself ,believe in that tomorrow will be better.
You see,no matter what difficulties we face,we always smile,don't we?So，earthquake we are not afraid because of our smile;H1N1, we are not afraid because of our smile....
