A young King had just ascended the throne . In order to administer his kingdom, he was determined to learn from all the wisdom of the world. Therefore, he summoned the wise men at home and abroad and ordered them to hunt for all the wisdom books for him to read and learn.
Five years passed quickly. The wise men tirelessly returned, with the camel team carrying 5,000 wisdom books. Seeing so many books, the king was so stunned that he didn't know how to read them. So he ordered the wise men to condense them and then brought it to him.
Five years passed. The wise men again went to see the king, with the camel team carrying 500 books, but the king still thought them too many.
Another five years passed. The wise men brought back 50 great books. At this time the king had been perturbed by various problems, but he still felt more.
After a few more years, when the wise men worked hard to condense the 50 great books into one book and presented it to the king. He had taken no interest in reading this book, nor did he have time to fulfill such wisdom. The domestic problems broke out, the foreign enemies incessantly invaded and diseases pestered him, when any wisdom couldn't solve the problems he was confronted with.

一晃五年过去了。期间，智者们一直孜孜不倦，回来的时候用骆驼队驮着5000本智慧书籍。国王看到这么多书，一下惊呆了，不知道从何读起。于是，他命令智者们精简书目之后再拿给他看。
又过了五年时间。智者们又来面见国王，这次骆驼队驮着的是500本书，可是国王还是嫌多。
又过了五年。智者们拿来50本经典书籍。那时，国王已经被好多问题搞得心烦意乱，他还是嫌书太多。
又过了好几年，智者们已经不辞辛苦地把50本经典书籍浓缩成一本书呈现在国王面前。可国王既无意读书，又没空把这些智慧用于实践。国内问题频发，外敌接连入侵，国王疾病缠身，这时候，怕是任凭什么样的智慧也解决不了他的燃眉之急了。
