God fell across a puzzle when he created the world. Thinking over and over, he decided to listen to the archangels' views. After the summoned archangels arrived, God asked them, “Tell me, where should I put the secret of life?”
“Bury it in the ground,” an archangel replied.
“Put it at the bottom of sea,” another said.
“Hide it on the high mountain,” the third suggested.
God shook his head and said, “If I do as you suggest, there will be a small group of people who can find it. But my original purpose is to let everyone find the secret of life!”
After a long silence, an archangel suddenly said, “I know. Put it into everyone's heart. As long as he's willing to seek for it, anyone can find it.”
“Yes!” God said in delight, “Put it in everyone's heart.”
Then the secret of life lies in everyone's heart.

沉默良久，一个大天使突然说：“有了，把它放进人心里吧。只要肯找，每个人都找得到。”
“对啊！”上帝喜从中来，“那就放进每个人的心里。”
于是，生命的秘密自在人心。
