辨 析:

I don't want to do that译成「我不想那样做」逻辑上讲得通,可是「你不想要那样做」好像不太通,可见原译有问题。其实这是一个婉转的建议,实际意思是「你不应该那样做」(指尚未做的事)。

英语中提议对方做某事, 常常采用比较婉转的口气,如:I would suggest you don't do that, if you don't mind.(如果你不介意,我会建议你不要那样做。)其他常用的办法:
