辨 析：

原译1显然不通，因为「困难」是形容词，不能这样用；

而原译2虽然通却不确切，可能会造成误解。

difficult的意思是「困难（的）」，第四版Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English给的定义是hard to do, understand, or deal with（难做，难懂或难处理）。因此我们可以说This problem is very difficult.（这个问题很难。）也可以说 It is difficult to solve this problem. （很难解决这个问题。/这个问题很难解决。）如要表示「我们很难解决这个问题」，可在上一句加上for us：It is difficult for us to solve this problem，但是却不可以说We are difficult to do that.（参见本书第117则）。

这是因为difficult这个形容词有「主动的」含义，something is difficult 的意思不是某事物本身有困难，而是对别人构成困难。至于用以形容人，上述词典专门列出：someone who is difficult never seems pleased or satisfied（怎么也讨不了好，总是不满意），其意思仍然是对别人构成困难，实在是一个很难巴结、很难相处的人。He is a difficult friend.的意思是As a friend, he is hard to please.（他这个朋友不好相处。）也可以这么理解：He is a difficult person.所含的实际意思是He is a person who makes things difficult for others.（但并没有像原译2所说的那样故意另外「制造出困难来」。）所以Don't be difficult.可以理解为Don't make us feel difficult. 

因此原文可译为：别难为 / 刁难我（们）了。或：别让我们感到为难。
