One day, I went to ski with my friend, Li Mei. We were playing happily on the ice when I heard a shout “Help”. I turned back and was surprised to see a boy falling into an ice hole. But neither of us could swim. So Li Mei and I ran to ask for help. A few minutes later, a policeman came and pulled the boy out of the water. What an unusual experience it was!

Last summer, I had an unusual experience that I will never forget. My family and I went to a remote village for our vacation. It was a small, serene place surrounded by mountains and rivers, far away from the bustling city life.

One day, we decided to hike up the nearby mountain. As we were climbing, the weather suddenly changed, and a thick fog enveloped us. We couldn't see the path clearly, and before we knew it, we were lost. We tried to find our way back, but it was futile.

Just as we started to panic, an old man appeared out of nowhere. He was a local villager and knew the mountain like the back of his hand. He guided us through the fog with ease, telling stories about the mountain and the village. His calm demeanor and deep knowledge of the area comforted us.

After what felt like hours, we finally made it back to the village. The old man refused any reward, simply saying that helping others was a joy in itself. That encounter taught me the value of kindness and the importance of local knowledge. It was an unusual experience, indeed, but one that left a deep impression on me.
