The fountains mingle with the river

波希·B. 雪莱(1792—1822)，出生于英国萨克斯郡,1816年前往瑞士与拜伦结为好友。1822年与友人驾帆出海，遇暴风，舟沉身亡。作品有《仙后麦布》(Queen Mab )，《阿多尼斯》(Adonais ，1821)，《西风颂》(Ode to the West Wind )，诗剧《解放了的普罗米修斯》(Prometheus Unbound ，1820)，《钦契一家》(The Cenci ，1819)等。他的抒情诗，笔调优美、明快，富有幻想色彩，洋溢着乐观情调，充满着生命力与希望。
