A Happy Journey

一次愉快的旅行

Last summer, Mother and I went to visit my aunt in Xiamen. We had some rather heavy luggage, so we had to go to the station by taxi. Father went to see us off.

We bought our tickets and then sat down in the waiting room till it was time for us to leave. We got on the train and found it was not crowded at all. How glad I was that we could find seats by the window.

I found it very interesting to look out of the window. The train was running quickly and smoothly along. I could see green farms and beautiful mountain villages. Though it took me more than ten hours, I never felt tired of sitting in the train.

After a long train ride we reached Xiamen at last. As soon as we stepped down from the train I saw my aunt had come to meet us on the platform.

Last weekend, I went on a happy journey with my family. We visited a beautiful town with clear streams and shady paths. We had a picnic by the river and visited an interesting zoo. The whole trip was filled with laughter and wonderful memories, and I will never forget this unforgettable experience.

上周末，我和家人一起去了一次愉快的旅行。我们去了一座美丽的小镇，那里有清澈的溪流和绿树成荫的小径。我们在河边野餐，还去了一家有趣的动物园。整个旅程充满了欢笑和美好的回忆，我永远都不会忘记这次难忘的经历。
