There was a man who had four sons.
He hoped that his sons could learn not to judge things too quickly.
So he gave his four sons a question in turn asking them to go to see a pear tree at a distance respectively.
The first son set out in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in the summer, and the youngest in the autumn.
When all of them returned home, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said the tree was ugly, bent and distorted.
The second son said it was no like that, but the tree was covered with green buds and full of hope.
The third son disagreed, saying that it was laden with blossoms which smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful. And he had never seen such beautiful scenery.
The last son disagreed all of them, saying that it was overhung with fruits, full of life and content.
The man told his four sons that you were all correct, because you only saw the scenery of the tree in one season. He told his sons that they could not judge a tree or a person only by one season. And that the essence of a person could only measured when all the seasons were over.
If you just give up in winter, you will miss the hope of spring, the beauty of summer and the harvest of autumn in your life.

小儿子对他们说的都不赞成，他说树上结满果实，生机勃勃，富有内涵。
这个人告诉四个儿子，大家说的都对，因为你们都只看到了一个季节的景象。他还说不论是对树、对人都不能仅凭一个季节的样貌就下结论。要衡量人的本质，只有当四季都过完之后才能做出判断。
如果你在冬天就放弃了，生命中春的希望、夏的华美、秋的丰收就会通通错过了。
