① college   大学，专科学校；学院，分院
She failed to get into art college.

② institute  研究所，学院，协会
He got a scholarship to the Institute of Art.

③ academy  专科院校
The academy is far more inclusive now than it used to be. 
该学院如今比过去更为兼收并蓄。
