一、influence作动词，意思是“影响，感化”

Children are easily influenced by their parents.

孩子们很容易受其父母的影响。

常用搭配：influence sb. to do sth.  促使某人做某事

What influenced you to do it ？

是什么影响你去做那件事的？

二、influence 作名词，影响力，感化力。

（1）have an influence on    对…… 有影响

Listening to music has a calming influence on her.

音乐对她起到一种镇静的作用。

（2）under the influence of  在…… 的影响下

He is very much under the influence of his teacher.

老师对他的影响很大。

（3）be a bad /good influence on sb.   对某人是个坏的/好的影响

Those friends are a bad influence on her. 

那些朋友对她有负面的影响。

（4）influence还可以指人，意思是“有影响力的人”

He is an influence for good .

他是一个（能）发挥良好作用的人。
