一、doubt用作动词，在肯定句中，其后通常接 whether 或if 引导的宾语从句，在否定句或疑问句中通常接 that 从句。

I don’t doubt that he can finish the task on time. 

我相信他能按时完成任务。

He doubts if she will keep her word. 

他不敢肯定她是否会遵守诺言。

二、用作名词，在肯定句中后接whether从句(但不用if)，在否定句中或疑问句后接that从句。

There's some doubt whether John will come on time.

约翰能否按时来还很难说。

I have no doubt that you will succeed.

我肯定你能成功。

三、no doubt可用作副词，表示“无疑地”“很可能”。

No doubt he was just trying to help.

他多半只是想帮帮忙。

四、without (a)doubt意为“毫无疑问”“一定地”，其中的冠词通常省略。

Without doubt these theories are all wrong. 

毫无疑问，这些理论都是错误的。
