一、基本含义

v. 牵涉，涉及；包含，需要；使陷入，使卷入；（使）参加，加入

involve只用作及物动词，可接名词、代词或动名词作宾语。

二、常用结构

1、involve doing  包括

The job involves travelling abroad for three months each year．

这项工作包括每年三个月的国外旅行。

2、be involved in / in doing  涉及，参与；专心；卷入

He was involved in working out a plan.

他专心致志地制定计划。

He was involved in the crime．

他卷入了那次犯罪。

3、be involved with=involve sb／oneself with   涉及；与......有关联

I don't want my son to be involved with bad guys. 

我不想让我的儿子与坏人混在一起。

You shouldn't involve yourself with him. 

你不该跟他有任何瓜葛。
