1.学习、学会

My brother is learning English now.

我的弟弟正在学英语。

2.认识到、得知(直接跟宾语，或跟that引导的宾语从句)

We learned the news this morning.

我们今天早晨得悉这一消息。

He has learned that dishonesty does not pay.

他已经认识到不诚实是没有好报的。

3. 接受(教训)，固定表达

I learnt a lesson.

我接受了教训。

1. learn from  学、学习

Why don't you learn from my mistakes?

你为何不从我的错误中吸取教训呢?

2.learn of/about  得知、获悉

We learned of his marriage in the newspapers.

我们从报上获悉他结婚了。
